Spanisch lernen mit Jabel Tinamit

Nachdem ich eine Woche in Antigua eine Sprachschule besucht habe, habe ich beschlossen sowohl die Schule, als auch den Ort zu wechseln. Mein Reisefuehrer hat zwei Sprachschulen, unter anderem "Jabel Tinamit" empfohlen. Nach einem kurzen Anruf war direkt alles geklaert. Die Schule wird von einem einheimischen Ehepaar betrieben und ist sehr familiaer. Gerade dieser Punkt hat mich ausgesprochen gut gefallen. Um das Erlernte direkt anwenden bzw. ueben zu koennen habe ich mich fuer die Unterkunft in einer Gastfamilie entschieden, welche in unmittelbarer Naehe zur Sprachschule liegt. Fast jeden Tag werden von der Sprachschule aus verschiedene Ausfluege und Aktivitaeten angeboten, an welchen man fuer wenig Geld teilnehmen kann. In Guatemala ist sowieso alles wesentlich guenstiger als in Deutschland. ca. 160 Euro fuer eine ganze Woche Sprachschule (Einzelunterricht) inkl. Unterkunft und Verpflegung. In Pana selber geht es relativ Touristisch zu, wobei ich waehrend meines Aufenthaltes so gut wie keine anderen Deutschen getroffen habe. Zum Erlernen einer anderen Sprache also perfekt ;) Der See laedt zum entspannen und zu Ausfluegen zu den benachtbarten Doerfern ein. Einfach herrlich.

Zusammenfassend kann ich die Sprachschule nur empfehlen. Fuer Anfaenger aber mehr als nur eine Woche;)

Activities at Jabel Tinamit

Appréciation de notre séjour à l' école de langue Jabel Tinamit à Panajachel au Guatemala au mois de juin 2013.

En effet nous avons pris 60 heures de cours intensifs pendants trois semaines. Un comme l'autre nous avons grandement apprécié notre séjour et nous reconnaissons avoir beaucoup appris durant cette formation. Nos enseignantes furent très compétentes, attentionnées et d'une grande patience et gentillesse face à nos besoins. Tous les membres du personnel quel qu'il soit, nous aidaient à corriger nos erreurs en espagnol. L'accueil était très chaleureux. Nous avons aussi participé à plusieurs activités offertes par l'école dont un cours de cuisine Guatémaltèques et d'autres activités pour découvrir la région. Le tout est a un prix très abordable et dans une école moderne, un village très accueillant près du lac Atitlan, face aux volcans,  mon cours se donnait sur le toit avec cette vue magnifique.    Bon séjour à vous. My experience at JABEL TINAMIT

I came here with my husband, 2 teenage sons and sister-in-law.  I cannot recommend Jabel Tinamit enough.  Each person in our family is at a different level  of  Spanish.  Two of us knew virtually no Spanish when we came.  The staff  is not only is extremely knowledgeable but also VERY friendly and HELPFUL!!!  We feel as though they are almost part of our family now.  We each had our own teacher that worked with us according to our knowledge level. In addition the school has many side excursions that really help you see the area and if you want they will also  provide a guide. Every other student I have met at the school also seems extemely happy with their experiance.  I have never been to Guatalmala before.  Pana is beautiful - I hope to come back again to both Pana and Jabel Tinamit.  I am also thinking of continuing my learning with Jabel Tinamit through Skype.
